The only way to cook a turkey!

Preheat oven to gas mark 4 / 350F / 180C.

Prepare your turkey by covering it in butter and seasoning, add stuffing inside the bird if you wish.

Open up a Bakewell turkey bag and place the bird inside.

Close the bag loosely with one of the ties provided. Cut the top corner of the bag with scissors.

Put the bag in an oven proof dish and place in the middle of the oven (making sure the bag doesn’t touch the heating element).

Cook for 2 and a half hours (this is based on a 12-16lb turkey with stuffing).

When time is up and turkey has reached 165F on the meat thermometer, enjoy your juicy succulent turkey. Use the juices left over to make gravy.
