Preheat oven to gas mark 5 / 190*C / 375F.
Prepare 4 large sweet potatoes by washing, peeling and cutting into long chunks.
Open up a Bakewell Extra-Large oven bag.
Add to the bag: 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper and the potatoes.
Move bag about to make sure potatoes are covered with spice mixture.
Close the bag loosely with one of the ties provided.
Make a small slit in the bag and place on an ovenproof dish in the middle of the oven.
Cook for 45 minutes to an hour, or until potatoes are lightly brown.
Open bag up carefully and serve.
We recommend serving with guacamole and sour cream 🙂
