Noodles veg and tofu

Drain 250g of tofu from the water it comes in.

Cut the tofu into 1cm strips and place in a medium sized Bakewell oven bag. Also add to the bag 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce and 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce.

Mix the sauce with the tofu to make sure the tofu is covered in the marinade Close the bag loosely with one of the ties provided and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to gas mark 5 / 190*C / 374F.

Using Bakewell baking paper line an oven tray.

Once the tofu is marinated, remove from the bag and place on a lined tray, removing excess sauce.

Cook the tofu on one side for 15 minutes, then turn the tofu over and cook for another 15 minutes.

Whilst the tofu is cooking, cook 50grams of soba noodles according to the instructions.

Heat some oil on a skillet and add the cooked noodles, 2 chopped carrots, 2 chopped spring onions and 1 tablespoon of soya sauce. Cook for 10 minutes (or until carrots are al dente).

Add the cooked tofu, and serve. Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds.
