Fresh white bread

Line a loaf tin with Bakewell baking paper and put to one side.

In a large bowl mix together 500g of white flour, 7g of yeast and 2 teaspoons of salt.

Make a gap in the centre and add 300mls of water, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and mix together.

Knead the mixture for approximately 10 minutes on a floured work surface.

Place the dough in an oiled container and cover with clingfilm. Store in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to gas mark 6 / 200*C / 400F.

Take the dough out and slightly knead it, dust with a small amount of flour and put in lined tin.

Place the tin in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Place on a wire rack to cool….and enjoy 🙂
