Beef and potato slow cooker stew

Open up a Bakewell slow cooker liner and line the base of your slow cooker with it.

Season 1kg of stewing meat (cut into cubes) with salt and pepper.

In a large pan heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and fry the meat until its brown on all sides (about 3 minutes).

Add the cooked meat to the slow cooker with: 900g of baby potatoes (cut into quarters), 1 large chopped onion, 4 cloves of chopped garlic, 3 chopped carrots, 1 bay leaf, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 57g of flour and 700mls of beef broth. Stir carefully.

Put the slow cooker lid on and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

When time is up serve the stew, seasoning with parsley. We recommend eating with crusty bread 🙂
