BBQ spare ribs

In a large bowl add together: 100g tomato puree, 60mls honey, 100g brown sauce, 100g tomato sauce, 4 tablespoons of Worchester sauce, 60mls of white wine vinegar, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 twig of thyme and salt and pepper.

Stir the mixture together.

Brush the mixture liberally on to 1.2kg of spare ribs.

Open up a large sized Bakewell oven bags and put the ribs and excess mixture inside.

Close the bag loosely with one of the ties provided and place on a plate inside the fridge for 6 hours or overnight to marinade.

When ready to cook, preheat the oven to gas mark 4/180*C/350F.

Place the bag on an ovenproof dish in the middle of the oven.

Cook for 45 minutes.

When time is up carefully open the bag and serve the ribs. We recommend accompanying with chunky chips and salad 🙂
